Offer Description

The position is permanent. The scientific field, for research and teaching, is Histology.
Requested research duties: the research activity will be developed within the themes that characterize the scientific disciplinary field of BIO/17. Special attention will be paid to studies in the field of morpho-functional organization of various cell types and extracellular components constituting tissues, their stem precursors, cell differentiation, as well as tissue renewal, repair and regeneration, and regulation of embryonic development.
Requested teaching duties: the teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching program of Centre for Medical Sciences, will be in the scientific disciplinary sector BIO/17 or related areas
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 16

Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the subject sector 05/H2 or one of the subject sectors included in the same wider subject sector 05/H and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification “idoneità” according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Full Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Full Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to Full Professor (according to ministerial equivalences).
