Job Overview: The Administrative Assistant (Housing) will support a variety of clerical activities and tasks related to permanent housing search. During this short-term, three-week project, the Administrative Assistant will support the Resettlement Program Manager with identifying permanent housing options for clients. This short-term position will start 03/18/24 and conclude 04/05/24. 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct ongoing outreach to current and potential landlords and property managers, building strong working relationships with the goal of transitioning clients from temporary to permanent housing. 
  • Support the identification of secure safe, sanitary, and affordable housing in compliance with established program requirements.
  • Conduct viewings of potential housing options to ensure that housing meets programmatic requirements. 
  • Support quality assurance efforts and satisfy recordkeeping requirements. 
  • Assist with coordination for home move-ins and delivery of housing supplies. 

Job Requirements: 

Education: High school diploma required; some university education preferred.

Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional language capacity would be preferred. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be well-organized, reliable, professional, detail oriented and flexible.
  • Desire to work as a team member and in a multicultural workplace.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation.

Working Environment: 

  • Standard office environment.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.  Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
