Job Title:  ANTHR 101: Intro to Social/Cultural Anthropology & ANTHR 110: Intro to Archaeology 

Job Classification:  Adjunct Faculty – Teaching, may result in day, evening, or continuing education classes.

Required Degree: Master’s Degree in Anthropology or related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:   Prior experience teaching college level Anthropology or related field.

Duties/Expectations: Candidates should have at least a master’s degree in Anthropology (or closely related field) and experience teaching university-level courses. Duties include organizing and teaching curriculum aligned with established learning outcomes for assigned classes, grading student work, and holding office hours. Courses range from 30 to 100 students, and candidates should also be familiar with online instruction. Current courses for which we are seeking adjunct faculty to teach may include ANTHR 101: Introduction to Social/Cultural Anthropology, ANTHR 110: Introduction to Archaeology, or other required and/or elective courses in the department.
