JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Planning & Partnerships of Penn State Global is seeking a part-time coordinator to support Asia Partnerships.

Duties include:

Facilitating in the validations of institutional relationships in Asia

Coordinating with the marketing and communications department on news items such as partnership updates

Interviewing faculty in their research engagement

Highlighting achievements, and spotlighting collaborative narratives

Assisting in delegation visits to and from Asia

Scheduling events for visiting scholars and exchange staff members from Asia

Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

Experiences in working with stakeholders in Asia.

Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal, intercultural, written, and verbal communications skills.

Have the desire to learn about other culture and grow your global engagement capabilities.

The part-time Asia Partnership coordinator will have an average of 20 hours a week workload.
