Main purpose of job: Be a part of the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) mission to drive more trade and investment between North America and the UK. Based at the British Consulate-General in Miami, the Trade & Investment Officer will support two Senior Trade & Investment Officers – first covering the Clean Energy sector of Renewable Energy – Energy Storage, Smart Grids, Nuclear, and Waste to Energy and the second covering Infrastructure sector of transport, built environment, water and resiliency. The successful candidate will spend roughly 50% of their time on the Trade sector, and 50% of their time on the Investment sector along with supporting wider collaborative projects within the Clean Energy and Infrastructure teams. You will be part of the North America teams with responsibility for Clean Energy and Infrastructure, as well as a valued contributor to the regional teams based across Miami and Atlanta. You will also work closely with colleagues based around the UK. |

Working patterns: This role is 40 hours a week. The British Embassy and its US Network embraces hybrid working, allowing its staff to typically work from home 2 times a week.
