The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of NTU provides a multidisciplinary academic program that provides students with a wide-ranging and up-to-date education.  It offers undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, as well as graduate training leading to MSc and PhD degrees.  Details of the Division can be found at https://www.ntu.edu.sg/spms/about-us/mathematics.

The candidates are expected to:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality, innovative research in terms of publishing top-tier papers
• Giving invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel
• Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Giving academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
• Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles
• Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by the School and University

Requirements:

• PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline
• Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
• A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields
• Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
