Administrative Program Coordinator
Epidemiology
Location: New Orleans, LA
Summary
The Administrative Program Coordinator supports investigators, study manager/study coordinators, research staff, and department administrators by assisting with the coordination and organization of study activities. This position supports study operations by performing reception duties, data entry, overseeing study inventory, providing new enrollment and retention reports to investigators, processing purchases, reconciling financial transactions, and completing administrative and clerical assignments. This position assists research staff in conducting participant recruitment and data collection by organizing mailings, calling and screening potentially eligible participants, collecting data by phone, maintaining call logs and tracking of recruitment and retention, scheduling participant visits, answering participant questions by email and phone.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to complete detailed assignments by assigned deadlines and to work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word and Excel)
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
OR
• High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong familiarity with computers, telephone systems, fax, and photocopier machines
• Ability to follow up with appropriate departments and personnel
• Skilled in coordinating and organizing meetings and/or special events
• Experience working in a clinic or hospital setting
Compensation Information
