Footprint Ecology Limited
tendersglobal.net
We are seeking a senior person to work on nature conservation projects around the country.
Footprint Ecology is a unique consultancy that advises and collaborates with non-commercial
organisations to conserve and restore nature; we are based in one of the most biodiverse
locations in the UK. We have a national profile and a large body of repeat clients, we do
not work for developers.
The post will involve a portfolio of technical project work relating to land use planning,
conservation land management, survey design and implementation, conservation policy, managing recreation impacts and
strategic planning. The exact nature of the role will depend upon the expertise of the
successful applicant but we do not usually require protected species surveys.
We are seeking someone who has previously worked for NGOs, local authorities, statutory
agencies or who has undertaken consultancy work for these types of clients. The successful
candidate will need to be familiar with the conservation sector and be highly professional with
good people skills and proven ability in project management.
This post is advertised as a permanent, full-time, position, although applications for
part-time work will be considered. It will involve working as part of a team that is based in
Dorset, but which undertakes work across the UK. We are happy to consider applicants who are
based outside Dorset, but we encourage a hybrid approach and would expect regular attendance at
the office.
