The Public Works Department recognizes that clean water is directly linked to our city’s prosperity and sustainability. We’re currently seeking qualified applicants for Water Renewal Utility Planning Manager to support the development of water renewal facilities. Responsibilities include:
- Manages utility planning functions for the Water Renewal Services (WRS) utility, including project prioritization for inclusion in the annual capital improvement plan (CIP) and implementing the project delivery process for major capital projects
- Oversees implementation of the Water Renewal Utility Plan policies, planning studies, and levels of service goals
- Works in direct coordination with the program managers
- This position works under limited supervision

Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, and
- 5 years of directly related technical and professional experience with water renewal (wastewater treatment) and facilities planning
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training:
- Master’s degree in related field, and
- 8 years of experience.
