Project Coordinator (Pediatrics-Child Abuse)

Job Summary:

Responsible for collecting, entering, and summarizing project data, coordinating trainings, and preparing materials for biweekly medical case staffing’s.

Job Duties:

1.     Ensures projects run smoothly by overseeing a workflow, scheduling assignments, evaluating the course of the project, and reporting its status to management and stakeholders.

2.     Creates project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to established guidelines and ensures projects are administered according to protocol.

3.     Coordinates and organizes project activities to include training, data management, and analysis.

4.     Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles.

5.     Provides status updates on the progress of the project.

6.     Ensures effective preparation and delivery of all project events, meetings, and production of all necessary documentation.

7.     Serves as the project liaison between the various departments and stakeholders.

8.     Participate in grant related meetings and proposes improvements if necessary.

9.     Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1.     General business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.

2.     Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.

3.     Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

4.     Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).

5.     Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.

6.     Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.

7.     Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Experience:

Three (3) years of directly related experience is required.
