Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience teaching with primary sources, such as rare books, manuscripts, and archival collections.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying potential donors, stewarding donor relationships, and negotiating donor agreements.
  • Developing and implementing collection development policies for manuscript and rare book collections.
  • Demonstrated experience applying foundations of archival theory and/or the history of the book.
  • Initiating and sustaining collaborative opportunities within the campus, the local community, and beyond.
  • Providing research assistance for diverse audiences.
