Job Description
Job Overview:
The Senior HR Officer: Recruiting/Onboarding/Learning & Development is responsible for recruitment and onboarding processes in accordance with IRC policies and procedures.
The position reports to the HR Manager and works closely with the HR, other Operations teams and Program Teams to ensure effective and efficient recruitment services, onboarding and L&D programs to support program activities in Poland. Major Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
·Conducting end-to-end recruitment processes for IRC Poland
·Building & implementing recruitment strategy
·Gathering Hiring Managers’ requirements and creating recruitment plans best adjusted to the specific roles through RSM (Recruitment Strategy meetings)
·Job posting on various platforms
·Processing candidates in the local recruitment system
·Building partnerships with local stakeholders
·Candidate search with the usage of IT tools (Social media, LinkedIn, job portals, etc.)
·Building a pipeline of potential candidates
·Supporting Employee satisfaction & Candidate experience activities
·Preparing Recruitment Reports and Analytics
·Assist with other related activities as assigned
Onboarding:
·Running ATC checks and gathering professional references through Skillsurvey
·Setting up the new hire’s email account
·Preparing documents necessary for the start of employment (medical referrals)
·Scheduling all initial onboarding courses in person and online
·Maintaining and updating the onboarding new hire program on the Kaya platform
·Notifying hiring managers and new hires about the initial onboarding courses
·Meeting & greeting new staff and introducing new hires to the entire team
·Running presentation for New Hires and providing them guidance on different HR resources and procedures
Learning & Development:
·Creating goals for training and development initiatives
·Continuous improvement of the onboarding plan
·Introduction of L&D Framework for IRC Poland Country Program by recognizing the primary training needs, gaps in skills and abilities, and creating the organization-wide training strategy
· Program in alignment with the People & Culture (P&C) department and IRC’s Strategy 100
·Enhancing technology-enabling solutions, such as those offered in current HR platforms, or looking for new platforms
·Cooperation with Global Learning & Development team
·Providing managers, supervisors, and those involved in employee development with training and coaching
·Creating and maintaining corporate communications, including newsletters and intranet bulletin boards, to make sure staff members are aware of opportunities for training and development
·Conducting post-training evaluation and outcome research on all completed training.
·Exemplifies the ideal organizational culture and ideas.
·Effectively collaborates with other management personnel and the HR team.
·Positively affecting senior management, who prioritize staff development as the organization’s goal.
Qualifications
Requirements:
·Education Degree or professional certificate in Human Resources, Administration, or equivalent work experience.
·Experience
·Meaningful professional experience in recruitment and HR
·Language: Fluent in Polish. Strong English proficiency highly preferred.
·Functional knowledge, skills and ability:
·Ability to build sourcing strategies and use various methods of Internet and social media research
·Excellent communication skills
·Analytical skills
·Works collaboratively with team members to achieve results.
·Relates and works well with people of different cultures, gender and backgrounds.
·Ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment during recruitment processes
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·Able to respond rapidly to changing environments, yet remain productive and focused
·Strong digital literacy (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Must have the right to work in Poland
