Chemonics invites experienced and qualified individuals to submit their resumes for senior leadership positions for an anticipated USAID solicitation focused on economic growth based in Kyiv, Ukraine. This call for resumes is in anticipation of future USAID solicitation, which will work to foster a better business enabling environment, provide support for competitive industries and firms, boost job creation, and increase exports. The position is contingent upon contract award and USAID approval.
The senior leadership team will be responsible for project implementation, management, and results. They will liaise with USAID and establish and maintain constructive working relationships with counterparts and with implementers of related donor programs.
Qualifications:
Senior leadership positions require substantial experience leading and/or implementing complex technical assistance programs in related technical fields, with a proven track record of programmatic accomplishment, professional achievement, management competence, and interpersonal skills.
- At least a master’s degree – or equivalent experience – in business, economics, or a related field
- At least 7 years of successfully managing complex economic growth development projects; experience in Europe and Eurasia region, and in Ukraine in particular, preferred
- Successful working experience with three or more of the following technical areas: business climate reform, industry upgrading and competitiveness, export development and promotion, trade policy, investment facilitation, and trade facilitation
- Demonstrated ability to manage a highly skilled, interdisciplinary team; manage productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders; and implement robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
