Full-time summer position lasting 10 weeks

Dates: June 10 – August 16, Monday – Friday

Hours: Approximately 8:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Salary: $6,500 – $7,000

Salaries vary based on previous experience.

Transportation: Staff ride the bus to and from camp each day with their campers.

Description: The Naturalist/Wilderness Play Facilitator assists groups in our on-site wilderness play program. Wilderness Play at camp involves unstructured, imaginative outdoor play for 3rd graders and up. Campers spend time with their peers exploring and creating in our camp “wilderness” and are encouraged to use natural elements to build a world for themselves and their peers.

Qualifications: Applicants must be college-aged or older. Position requires individuals to be certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR and First Aid. Certification is available through camp.

Applicants fill out an online application and attend a Group Interview. Select applicants are invited to return for an Individual Interview with a Director.
