Your new role

  • Full time Ongoing
  • Located at Deakin, ACT or Wagga Wagga, NSW
  • Annual Salary between $103,579.91 to $109,561.91

The Quality and Risk Manager will coordinate quality, compliance, risk, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with staff and leaders, the role will ensure that there are appropriate systems and processes and in place to support compliance with regulatory, accreditation and other quality assurance requirements, and promote safety, quality, and improvement.

Duties:

In consultation with the Executive Director Strategy and Innovation, the Quality and Risk Manager is responsible for:

  • Quality management and improvement
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Policy and Procedures oversight
  • Professional Development

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Qualifications and relevant skills and experience working in health service delivery, quality assurance understanding legislative requirements and supporting compliance with those requirements.
  • Strong understanding and application of Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) methodology or other continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing regular, accurate and succinct reports to senior management that identify potential opportunities and risks, and trends over time, while managing competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse cultural communities and knowledge of issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with a disability, culturally and linguistically diverse individuals and communities and LGBTQIA+ communities.
