About the role

Duties

  • Perform functional assessments for young children and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with families and trans-disciplinary teams to implement individualised goals.
  • Provide direct speech pathology services in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Support families, educators, and professionals in creating inclusive environments and staying updated on best practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working with young children with developmental delays preferred but not essential 
  • Openness to work in an innovative, dynamic and relationally informed early intervention model
  • Knowledge of early childhood intervention principles and best practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in navigating digital systems and utilising technology
  • Current drivers’ licence, willingness/ability to travel to clients (pool cars provided)
