Your Impact

Reporting to the Manager, Education and Engagement, you will develop and deliver best practice training and capacity building for professionals working with people at risk of or experiencing family violence.

Additionally, you will:

  • Collaborate with team members to create evidence-based family violence, family law, and child protection training programs, including the development of eLearning packages
  • Collaborate with and mentor staff on best practice education and engagement methods and practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve awareness of challenges faced by women in family violence situations by providing tailored training and education which empowers women in their ability to make informed decisions
  • Contribute to the planning, development and implementation of policies, strategies, and programs of the Education and Engagement team

What you bring

You are a proactive and self-motivated individual who has demonstrated expertise in instructional design, planning, developing, and implementing effective education and capacity building programs, including creating learning resources and facilitation of training.

You also have:

  • Experience in delivering educational programs within a family violence, family law or child protection context
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, clients and colleagues
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet project outcomes
  • A strategic and analytical mindset to support a culture of continuous improvement
