Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the world of tertiary education? The NTEU Queensland Division invites you to join our team as a Union Organiser, where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future working lives for academic and general staff at James Cook and Central Queensland Universities.

This full-time role is primarily located at the Townsville Campus of JCU, with regular travel to the CQU Rockhampton.

As a Union Organiser, you’ll find yourself at the heart of our progressive organisation, dedicated to advocating for the rights and interests of workers in the tertiary education sector. You’ll be instrumental in providing general administration support for the Branch and its Committees, engaging in organising, recruitment, and campaign activities, as well as maintaining and servicing vital networks of workplace reps and activists.
