You will deliver a the full lifecycle of tender exercises, for a wide range of goods, services and works across the full range of the SMG’s activities. With this, you will be a key contributor to procurement activity supporting our ICT departments, as well as some Masterplan tenders and general corporate contract activity for our Southern sites.You will also assist the implementation of the procurement strategy and best practice procurement procedures. Overall, ensuring that value for money is achieved through robust, efficient, and compliant procedures.This is a 12 month fixed term maternity cover, offering the flexibility to work from home with a hybrid working pattern, based form our Science Museum, London.Fulltime, 35 hours per week

With experience of working in accordance with public sector procurement legislation and procedures, you will have the ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable procurement. Diplomatic and pragmatic, you have great skills in collaborating and engaging with a range of stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.Along with experience of e-tendering, marketplace systems, and consortia frameworks, you have had exposure to Public Contracts Regulations.
