Job Description
Be You is the national mental health in-education initiative funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care and delivered by Beyond Blue in collaboration with Early Childhood Australia and Headspace.
The Evidence and Impact Adviser, Be You, is within the Evidence & Impact stream as part of the Be You Strategy, Policy & Advisory team. The Adviser will support the development and delivery of Be You’s Performance and Monitoring Framework, Evaluation approach, and associated activities to demonstrate the impact of Be You. This is a part-time position working 4 days per week.
This role will focus on data analysis, translating research, knowledge, and insights internally to inform Be You products and services, policy and advocacy positions, and, more broadly, to share and support change across the system. The position will also support accountability and impact measurement through advising on internal and independent evaluations.
Tertiary qualified in public health, health promotion, social science or research, the appointee will have a strong understanding of evaluation and research theories, methods, and outcome measurement for learning and continuous improvement. Your expertise in designing, commissioning, conducting, and managing research and evaluation projects will be underpinned by your ability to undertake research ideally with quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
