About the Role

Sunbury & Cobaw Community Health’s Counselling team is looking for a fantastic Mental Health Clinician.

The position works within a stepped model of care, with access to mental health and wellbeing clinicians to support holistic care for the individual!

  • Provide assessment and complex clinical care coordination to consumers (aged 13+) experiencing severe and persisting mental illness and/or complex mental health needs, including evidence-based/short-term psychological interventions, suicide risk and medication management, physical health care and psychosocial support
  • Offer referral pathways to clients and their treating health practitioners to support the management of common mental health disorders in a stepped care approach
  • Targeted services for those individuals who are not likely to be able to have their needs met through Medicare-subsidised or other mental health services
  • Provide Therapeutic Psychological Intervention for individuals with diagnosable mild and moderate mental illness
