Since 2015 UN Women Georgia Country office runs the CO website to communicate externally with our stakeholders and target groups about programmes and success/human stories for achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment.
UN Women Georgia Country office website has around 31k visitors quarterly bases. The website is widely used among academia, stakeholders general public and donor community. The website covers all programme related news and success and human stories. The UN Women communications team is actively engaged in content creation and management producing minimum 5 news articles on monthly bases. The website technical and monitoring is a vital part of the smooth running of the website that should be in line with the general protocol and requirements of the UN Women.
National Web Management Consultant under the UN Women Communications Analyst’s supervision must carry out monitoring and troubleshooting procedures for the smooth operating of the UN Women Georgia Country website.
Duties and Responsibilities
UN Women country website is technically well-functioning, is of a high-quality and in full compliance with the corporate rules and regulations;
– trainings conducted for Digital Communications and Social Media Analyst to stay updated and trained on the use of the WCMS and website content adding/editing

Required Skills and Experience
Education and Certification:
• Master’s degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in web management within the UN system.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in web development.
- Knowledge of HTML; XM ; CSS; PHP; Javascript (JQuery, Node.js, React, Vue.js, Alpine.js) ; Bootstrap ; Tailwind CSS ; Laravel ; Livewire ; Rest API ; GraphQL Other Web Development skills such as: Drupal; Sitecore; Filament; Moodle
- Excellent analytical skills with strong drive for results and capacity to work independently.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Georgian is required.
- Knowledge of Russian and-or any other UN official language is an asset.
