Our large and diverse team has earned an enviable reputation within the consultancy sector through portfolio of high-profile projects with clients that include High Speed 2, National Highways, Network Rail, Welsh Government, National Contractors and Local Authorities.As a key member of our team, you will support our transition to a solutions provider, transforming how we deliver through the implementation of new technologies and lean, digital processes, to increase efficiency and add value for our clients. With a focus on sustainability and decarbonisation, you will utilise your highly developed technical engineering, interpersonal and organisational skills in supporting the delivery of structural solutions on highways, rail, aviation, energy and power projects.You will be responsible for project delivery and undertake the role of technical/discipline lead on a range of bridge and structural related projects:

  • Lead and mentor teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
  • Use your knowledge and skills in to lead a team and other disciplines in providing an integrated service to clients
  • Proactively identifying and implementing innovative solutions through leveraging data, automation, lean and standardisation to improve efficiency/productivity and project outcomes.
  • Work with our UK and Global Integrated Delivery teams to best use our resources and ensure efficient and successful delivery.

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline)
  • A professional qualification
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills
  • Project management and leadership skills related to bridge design (or other disciplines)
  • Strong technical design and practical problem-solving skills

Candidates may have a background in bridge design, however, we are equally interested to hear from candidates from other disciplines and industries.
