Under the supervision of the Chief Education, the incumbent will be Supporting the European Union Programme through planning, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation of activities with the following main responsibilities:

• Support to Programme development and planning.
• Program management, monitoring, and delivery of results.
• Technical and operational support to Programme implementation.
• Networking and partnership building.
• Innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

The following minimum requirements:

• Education: An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
• Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required.
• Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset;
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in French and English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
