Description of the Assignment:  

Provide support to the human rights unit of the UNRCO under the direct supervision of the Senior Human Rights Adviser (SHRA) on activities related to program support. The consultant will work across the unit as well as RCO to ensure that activities are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner. S/he will be expected to have an excellent understanding of human rights and a flexible approach to the HRA mandate. S/he will provide support to the OHCHR desk office where necessary. S/he will make field visits as and when required. 

 

Period of assignment/services: 180 working days over a period of 12 months
