Description

UNICEF’s East Asia and Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) supports the achievement of this ambition through provision of technical assistance, capacity building and thought leadership. These functions and the goals of the EAPRO are expressed in the Regional Office Management Plan (ROMP) 2022-2025. EAPRO supports 14 country offices representing work in 27 countries and territories in the EAP region.
Annually, there is a need to take stock of progress achieved through all 14 country offices and EAPRO under Goal Area 4 by developing a concise annual report for publication by EAPRO. The annual report should summarize progress achieved towards all SP indicators under Goal Area 4, and be structured along the themes of the 3 results areas in the SP (results areas 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3). The report should include a data summary and a summary of expenditures, and be structured broadly following the guidelines for UNICEF thematic reports. This may require communication with UNICEF country offices to collect relevant examples and verify final text and data. This is a home-based consultancy.
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- Advanced University degree in Water Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Social Sciences or related disciplines
- This consultancy requires at least 15 years of experience in the WASH or climate sector at a senior level.
- Experience preparing UNICEF global or regional annual reports, including thematic reports, summary of results and expenditures
- Excellent written English skills; submission of written sample
