Job DescriptionSenior Sales EngineerSheffield£48,000 – £52,000 + Bonus and BenefitsElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-known and respected Sheffield Engineering business to recruit a Senior Sales Engineer. This is a key role with excellent career progression opportunities.This role is responsible for taking opportunities and enquiries through the sales process with a strong bias on the technical understanding of customer needs and the products and services offered.We are looking for a unique individual that has both a background in Engineering alongside excellent commercial acumen and relationship building skills! You’ll even get an early finish on a Friday!Senior Sales Engineer Role:– Identify new opportunities supporting the Sales Director with existing customers and target businesses.– Work closely with Product Engineers, Contracts, and Supply Chain to follow the enquiry qualification process.– Acquire customers by providing products and services that meet their quality, price, and delivery needs, offering commercial solutions with technical support.– Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with customers.– Handle engineering enquiries and prepare quotations.– Arrange face-to-face visits with current and potential customers both in the UK and oversea, and attend trade shows and exhibitions where required.Skills required:– Engineering background with a strong commercial bias
– NVQ level 3/ONC/HNC/HND in Engineering
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Strong literacy, numeracy and computer competency
– High level understanding of technical specifications and tender documentation • Demonstrable commercial acumen with proven strong negotiation skills • Needs-fulfilling and/or consultative sales experience
– Experienced in negotiating commercial contracts and T&CsBenefits:
