About the Role:
Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects achieve their desired benefits, focusing on implementing new systems and changes to existing systems. You will be responsible for system, data, and process changes, working hands-on throughout the project life cycle to bring implementations to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement software solutions to solve complex business challenges
- Manage and deliver system, data, and process changes
- Work with agile teams to ensure project delivery
- Utilise strong stakeholder management skills to lead teams and drive results
- Facilitate backlog grooming, stand-ups, planning sessions, and guide the team through Agile journeys within Uniting
- Manage and implement complex projects up to $5m
- Articulate messages clearly to various audiences
- Establish and maintain strong relationships within the organisation
- Influence others to move towards a common vision or goal
- Multi-task and keep track of multiple projects or Agile trains
- Navigate and manage through ambiguous situations
- Provide innovative solutions to problems in your discipline
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Scrum Master/Project Manager experience
- Minimum 5 years of Project or Agile experience in IT and/or business projects
- Experience with SAFE Agile methodologies
- Proven track record in managing and implementing complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, systematic, thorough, and accurate
- Developing skills in navigating a complex organization, forging relationships, and managing through influence

- Experience with large-scale enterprise or transformational efforts
- Agile Certification
- Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA
- Experience in implementing process changes and IT systems across broad geographical areas
- Effective use of the suite of Office365 tools across diverse business scenarios
