Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionEssential Functions (Responsibilities):Report to Plasma Lead Mechanic / Cell Leader.Perform Plasma operations I.A.W. OEM manuals, including Masking, Grit Blasting, Plasma Spraying and Demasking.Operating robotic thermal spray machines and PLC grit blast machines.Complete documentation I.A.W. Company quality procedures.Understand and conform to EHS/COSHH requirements.Qualifications/Requirements:Flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to a challenging and changing environment.Enthusiastic with a positive attitude to learning Plasma processes.Experience of Plasma processes would be an advantage but not essential.Awareness of EH&S, Quality & Production requirements.Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required.Awareness of production requirements within Component Repair.Desired Characteristics:All duties shall be performed in a safe manner in accordance with GE EH&S policy and procedures.All staff are expected to follow company Quality procedures and to comply with aero industry standards.All staff are expected to display a mature and positive attitude.All staff are expected to carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by supervisor/management.Flexible WorkingGE Aviation supports and encourages flexible working arrangements, where possible, and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance.Total RewardAt GE Aviation we understand the importance of Total Reward.
