Position Start Date: ASAP

Location: Lausanne HQ, Switzerland – 2 days teleworking per week

Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss organization for children’s aid. Through our health, protection, and emergency relief programs, we assist yearly over seven million children and members of their communities in 30 countries in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. https://www.tdh.org

The Global Institutional Partnership Sector leads strategic fundraising to ensure resources are available for projects in the field. The sector plays an active role in intelligence gathering and engagement with the most important institutional donor agencies.  

 

General Responsibilities: 

 

·         Support the sector in building and disseminating the internal fundraising intelligence.

·         Conduct research and analysis on donors, financing and/or other fundraising-related issues.

·         Support the ongoing strategic engagement with the key institutional donors.

·         Proactively monitor and update donor/potential donor profiles. This will require research into donor-specific trends, priority themes/countries in donors’ aid programs, political trends, key actors, budget cycles, etc.

·         Maintain a comprehensive global donor data base, including tracking the donor engagement outreach and communication at the global, regional and country level. 

·         Assist the team in organizing meetings and creating materials (such as PowerPoint Presentations) tailored to individual donors or potential donors.

·         Support the coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Perform any ad hoc task assigned by the team as needed.

Training/Qualifications: master’s degree in the relevant fields

 

Languages: Perfect fluency in English. French and German are assets.

 

IT: Good Use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Project Management Software.

 

Salary: 2450 CHF gross x 13 months.
