Job Title: Test Analyst – Automation
Sector: Financial Services / Trading
Essential: Cucumber, SoapUI, JMeter, SeleniumVertex IT Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for a Test Analyst to join a Global Financial Services company in London. This role sits within our clients Quality Assurance team that is part of the FIX Connectivity group of the Global Broking division. The role encompasses the design and execution of manual and automated test scripts for various connectivity related systems.Job duties:
– Implementation and on-going operation of software test strategies
– Preparation of test scenarios
– Preparation of test datasets, either via tools or manually
– Functional and non-functional testing covering unit, integration and stress testing
– Design, implementation and on-going control of testing environments globally
– Preparation of test pack results to be included in release packages
– Undertaking testing on all new software delivered into the organisation from 3rd parties
– Overseeing UAT and liaising with End Users
– Liaison with development team to ensure full test coverageEssential:
– Previous work essential in the financial markets preferable, but not essential
– Previous experience in a test environment
– Previous experience using automated test tools
– An understanding of FIX protocols would be an advantage
– Understanding of the following tools: Cucumber, SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium

Expected salary

£55000 – 60000 per year
