Job description
The Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department, providing essential financial insights and guidance in the Transport & Distribution industry. This opportunity is based in Warrington and offers the chance to be part of a motivated and professional team.
- Analysing financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Identifying trends and financial risks that might impact company performance.
- Collaborating with the wider team to improve financial processes and systems.
- Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to management.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close process.
- Participating in special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
Finance Analyst |Permanent – Warrington – Plus study supportA successful Finance Analyst should have:
- A strong academic background in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar finance role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- An ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
