Lead Mid-Senior Interior Architect for Luxury Residential Projects, 5+ years’ experience requiredPermanentSalary Guide: £45,000 – £55,000Quick Summary of this Interior Architect Role A dynamic West London based residential studio is looking for a sharp and driven lead Interior Architect. This is a friendly and talented studio of 25 designers, with great career development support and an excellent benefits package. This permanent position is keen to take on either a strong Middleweight Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer that’s looking to grow and invest in this studio long term. This is a Vectorworks based studio, however there can be training provided for a designer coming from an AutoCAD background. - Strong design and planning experience
- Produce detailed and comprehensive drawing packages
- Develop and produce from concept to tender to construction detailing
- Create fixture and finishes specification schedules
- Project manage on site from concept to completion
- Delegate working hours to wider design team
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, site contractors and consultants
- Engage and overlook FF&E communications
- Attend meetings, correspond with design team
- Manage client relationships
- Communicate design ideas through sketching and digital tools
Skills Necessary for this Interior Architect Role
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the luxury residential sector
- An interior designer degree or equivalent
- Should have basic design intent and construction knowledge
- Experience in developing drawing packages and construction detailing
- Strong Vectorworks knowledge preferably, training provided for strong AutoCAD users*
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English
- Great at taking initiative, and must be highly organised
- Positive attitude and willing to help and mentor more junior designers
