This is a friendly and talented studio of 25 designers, with great career development support and an excellent benefits package. This permanent position is keen to take on either a strong Middleweight Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer that’s looking to grow and invest in this studio long term. This is a Vectorworks based studio, however there can be training provided for a designer coming from an AutoCAD background. • Strong design and planning experience
• Produce detailed and comprehensive drawing packages
• Develop and produce from concept to tender to construction detailing
• Create fixture and finishes specification schedules
• Project manage on site from concept to completion
• Delegate working hours to wider design team
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, site contractors and consultants
• Engage and overlook FF&E communications
• Attend meetings, correspond with design team
• Manage client relationships
• Communicate design ideas through sketching and digital tools

Skills Necessary for this Interior Architect Role

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the luxury residential sector
• An interior designer degree or equivalent
• Should have basic design intent and construction knowledge
• Experience in developing drawing packages and construction detailing
• Strong Vectorworks knowledge preferably, training provided for strong AutoCAD users*
• Excellent communicator, fluent in English
• Great at taking initiative, and must be highly organised
• Positive attitude and willing to help and mentor more junior designers
