Mission and objectives

UN Women Uzbekistan is working to advance Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment in the country.

Context

This task aims to increase awareness on the NGOs working on gender equality in Uzbekistan by analyzing the NGOs in order to start establishing long term relations and partnerships with them.
The candidate will gain the experience of taking active roles during establishment of UN Women Uzbekistan office.
The assignment will begin on September 2, 2024.

Task description

– Researching NGOs working on gender equality and women’s empowerment in Uzbekistan
– Mapping of NGOs, including relevant information, the projects and programmes of NGOs and other parameters which will be agreed on mutually
– Writing a report/analysis as end product with the findings
