Your Role

The Brand and Creative Services Manager is responsible for the management of the Society’s visual brand application across the state, design and production and provision of creative input to state-wide design and marketing across all areas including retail, fundraising, social justice and advocacy.

Your Responsibility

  • Manage the Society’s visual brand, advise and ensure consistency to the style guidelines across the Society and its sub-brands
  • Conceptualise, prepare and produce high quality print and digital collateral within agreed deadlines
  • Magazines
  • Websites
  • Newsletters, brochures and flyers
  • Annual Reports
  • Advertising – print, digital & social media
  • Social Media assets
  • Event Collateral –print & digital
  • Direct Mail Marketing
  • Signage and merchandise
  • Digital assets for EDMS and website
  • Logo design
  • Interpret, discuss and advise on design and branding requests from all areas of the Society
  • Develop high quality creative and innovative concepts that meet the needs of the client
  • Manage and lead a Junior Designer and a network of freelancers giving guidance and development opportunitites, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, within brand guidelines and in a timely manner
  • Work with Digital Product Manager on Society digital platforms and products.

You Will Need

  • Qualifications in graphic design along with at least 10 years’ design experience
  • Advanced skills in: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Acrobat
  • Extensive experience in graphic design for print and digital platforms
  • Extensive experience preparing files for print (prepress)
  • Extensive experience liaising with printers and other providers regarding costs, production techniques, deadlines and quality control
  • Excellent client liaison skills in taking briefs, discussing projects and managing multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Manage workflows and deadlines for the design team
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Word and Excel
  • Experience in UX / CX design and relevant tools such as Figma highly regarded.
