About the Role
Working within the Customer Care Team, this role involves answering incoming calls for our Workforce Australia customers across Queensland. The role also involves outbound calls to our customers as well as various administration tasks. Our teams are focused on providing exceptional customer service, supporting the business functions at site level to improve the customer experience and resolving customer enquiries at the first point of contact; when we can of course.
Other key duties will include:
- Becoming very familiar with the employment services offered by the organisation so you can take customers through the process step by step.
- Working with our on-site mentors to understand our customers individual needs and assist in progressing them to employment.
- Frequently contacting customers and staff through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, teams and SMS.
- Providing administration support and diary management to assist our service delivery teams.
- Maintaining data integrity across our various systems.
What you will bring to the role:
- Call centre experience within a similar office-based role; you are comfortable working in a high-volume admin and call environment.
- Ability to learn and retain high levels of information from a variety of sources.
- Strong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skills – experience using WAOP and JobReady would be great but not essential – Excel and Outlook are a must.
- Experience working to KPIs or targets; we will of course help you along the way.
- You are a true people person and can easily connect with others, regardless of their background.
- Resilience and a sense of calm when dealing with those trickier conversations.
- Happy to pitch in to help the wider team when needed.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills and great attention to details; you don’t miss a beat!
Additional requirements:
- Right to Work in Australia i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with Permanent Work Rights – excludes visas with Temporary Work Rights.
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the willingness to gain clearance if successful. We will reimburse you the cost on commencing.
- Willingness to undertake a“Fit2Work” Police Check.
