JobSummary

ScholarshipCoordinatorwilloverseeandcarryingouttheCSR-fundedscholarshipprogramand willbeexpectedtointeractwiththegirlscholarsinordertoassistintheiracademicendeavors. Theyintendtoprovideconsistentandopencommunicationwiththedonorstokeepthem apprisedoftheproject’sprogress.

JobDescription

  • ExecuteandoverseethescholarshipprogramforchosenBPharmastudentsinaccordancewiththe schedule and project implementation strategy.
  • DeterminingwhichuniversitiesofferBPharmadegrees,publicizingtheirscholarshipprograms,and identifying the candidates who qualify for them.
  • Servesasapointofcontactforscholarsandfaculty/staff,offeringresourcesandinformationabout programs and events related to scholarships.
  • •Regularlyobservingscholars’developmentandproviding mentorship.
  • Supportplanningandfacilitationoftrainingprogrammesinvolvingexternaltrainers.
  • Identifingcompanies/corporatesandcreatingformalpartnershipswiththemstoorganizeexposure visits, training, internship and placement of scholars.
  • Recognizeandaddressconcernsorproblemswithstudents.
  • Assists with database administration and operations processes, plans the creation and upkeep of the scholarship management information system (MIS). Coordination of special events such as exposure visit, scholar meet, and other events as planned.
  • Periodicactivityandfinancialplanningandreportingasperthecalendar.
  • Anyotherassignmentsinsimilarprojects.

Education,Skills&Experience

  • Graduate/PostgraduateinPharmacy/Hospitaladministration(MHA)/Materofpublichealth(MPH) or any other relevant degree.
  • Minimum3years’experienceinfoundations/developmentorganizationorrelevantsectors.
  • Understandingofhighereducationsystems,financialaidprocesses,andscholarshipopportunities. Understanding of process of managing funds and distributing scholarships.
  • Computersandstandardofficesoftware-MSOffice,Word,Excel,PowerPoint
  • Shouldbeabletoprioritizeandmanagemultiple projects.
