Salary: $5,241.00 – $7,043.00 Monthly

Responsibilities:

  • Prior to and during fire season, develops and provides in-person and/or virtual IROC training to Division and Region DNR employees.
  • Responsible for maintaining current equipment and supplies in IROC.
  • Responsible for accurately rostering NW Incident Management Teams in IROC.
  • Obtains DNR Aviation Contracts/Agreements and connects them to Exclusive Use and CWN Aircraft in IROC.
  • In coordination with the DNR Coordination Center Manager and DNR CC staff, mobilize IMTs and additional resources to wildland fires in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for tracking incident locations, saving resource orders, and maintaining the out-of-state resource Excel database.
  • Coordinates annual updates to the Statewide DNR Mobilization Guide and ensures the DNR Region Mobilization Guides are available to agency personnel via SharePoint.
  • Supports NW Geoboard, PNWCG, and WFMD Training Program with the CIMT application process.
  • Serves as the point of contact with Federal partner agencies to establish and maintain Firenet 365 accounts.

Required Qualifications: 

  • An AA degree AND 2 years of professional experience in an emergency management, natural resource management, or other related field (examples could include: working in an emergency dispatch center; a fire cache operation; a local regional, state, federal, or tribal work unit);
    OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 courses.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and supporting an environment that honors diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice practices.
  • Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and public records retention and requests are followed.
  • Proficiency in computer skills processing, spreadsheets, and ability to develop complex documents in support of the program objectives.
