Description of the Assignment: UNDP is looking for a National Institution for the assignment : RFQ/2024/011 – Supply of laboratory tools, equipment, drugs and reagents for testing meat quality.
The “Improving Adaptive Capacity and Risk Management of Rural Communities in Mongolia’’ (shortly named as ADAPT) project funded by the Green Climate Fund was launched in March 2021. The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and the United Nations Development Program for 7 years in 4 project aimags including Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Zavkhan, and Khovd aimags.
Under the 3rd component of the project, we require to procure 6 sets of laboratory tools, techniques, equipment, and medicines essential for assessing the hygiene, quality, health, and safety of meat intended for slaughter, catering to the market needs of Soum farmers and model cooperatives participating in the project. These tools and equipment will be distributed to six veterinary departments across four provinces to bolster their operations and enhance the scope of services offered namely Bayntumen soum of Dornod Province, Ih-Uul, Tosontsengel, Aldarkhaan soum of Zavkhan Province, Tuvshinshiree soum of Sukhbaatar Province, Darvi soum of Khovd Province.
