Introduction:
 
Pure Earthwww.pureearth.org is the leading international not-for-profit dedicated to reducing toxic pollution-related impacts on the health of the populations especially children and pregnant women. Pollution is the leading cause of death in the world, more than HIV, AIDS and TB combined. Pure Earth identifies and cleans up severely polluted places in low and middle-income countries, focusing on sites where human health, especially that of women and children, is most at risk. Since 1999, Pure Earth has completed 110 pilot projects in 27 countries, impacting 4.2 million lives.
 
This project will strengthen the state health system and create expertise to collect, store, analyze, and use childhood toxic exposure data, not only to identify sources but to also raise awareness and enable the state government to plan, advocate for, and enact sound, cost-effective policies and interventions to address root causes. The project will provide needed clinical guidance and training for health professionals on toxic pollution source monitoring, their prevention and the dissemination of information about toxic pollution exposure. To reduce toxic pollution and save lives, we partner with local and international organisations, communities, funders, and governments.
 
We are seeking proposals from qualified agencies/agents to provide comprehensive travel management services, including travel, accommodation, flight, and cab booking, specifically for our operations in the states of Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi.
 
Objective:
The objective of this RFP is to identify and select a travel agency that can provide efficient, reliable, and cost-effective travel and accommodation services to support our activities in the specified regions.
 
Scope of Work: The selected agency will be responsible for the following services:
 
Travel Arrangements:
  • Booking domestic and international flights for staff and consultants.
  • Arranging train tickets as required.
  • Arranging reliable and safe cab services for local and inter-city travel.
  • Providing cab and other transportation services for field visits, meetings, and events.
  • Offering 24/7 support for travel-related emergencies and changes in travel plans.
Accommodation Arrangements:
  • Coordinating with Pure Earth India’s team to understand accommodation requirements.
  • Providing a range of accommodation options to suit different needs and preferences.
  • Booking hotels, guesthouses, or other suitable accommodations for staff and consultants.
  • Ensuring accommodations meet safety, comfort, and budget standards.
  • Providing timely confirmation of bookings and handling last-minute changes and cancellations.
Proposal Requirements: Interested agencies are requested to submit a detailed proposal that includes the following:
  • Company Profile: Overview of the agency, including years in business, key personnel, and relevant experience.
