About the Role
Your next position could be providing evidence-based and recovery-oriented support to people at risk of homelessness, discharged from acute mental health wards and/or supported by community mental health services. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day to day tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients.
Working as part of a wider team, you will have your own client caseload and will be provided with on the job supervision on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or Diploma or Certificate in a human service related field and/or demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness.
- Ability to work autonomously and professionally within RFQ’s service philosophy and values.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, own case load and KPI’s including outcomes measures and safety planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, stakeholders, and service providers.
- A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity.
- Smart phone to be used for work purposes.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property).
- Willingness and ability to undertake vaccination of preventable diseases that complies with the Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases – Qld Health Policy Directive.
