On behalf of our client, the Minnesota Valley Trust (Trust), the Dendros Group is conducting a board-directed executive search for the Trust’s next Executive Director.

The Minnesota Valley Trust is a 501c3 nonprofit that was created in 2000 to mitigate the impact of the expanding Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on the public’s use and enjoyment of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge). The Trust has built on its origins and continues working 24 years later in support of the Refuge.

Today, the Trust assists in making the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge a premier urban wildlife refuge by expanding and improving opportunitiesforthe public to connect with wildlife and nature. The Trust leads land acquisition to expand the Refuge and its Wetland Management District, conducts restoration and enhancement activities to improve habitat conditions for wildlife and people, supports the programs and operations of the Refuge and employs professional staff, interns and apprentices assigned to the Refuge.

The Trust Board seeks a skilled, passionate and experienced leader to serve as the next Executive Director. This person will work with the Board to set the organization’s vision and strategic direction and provide overall leadership in execution of the strategic plan working with the Refuge and Trust Staff.

This is a unique opportunity to join an incredible non-profit organization as its next leader.

Compensation:$140,000 – $190,000 annual salary plus benefits

Location: Work from home office, local travel for meetings in the greater Twin Cities area
