We’re looking for a dynamic Category Support Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton!This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own. You will effectively build and develop relationships with our customers, delivering an exceptional standard of service and identifying sales opportunities to maximise revenue growth.Who we areWe started with an ambition to disrupt the traditional model of European industrial distribution, and a commitment to doing things differently for our colleagues and customers.Today, we are the clear market leader with a presence in 22 markets and sales of €3bn in 2022.Our customers include some of the biggest names in manufacturing, the SMEs that form the backbone of industry and everything in-between.More than a mover of boxes, we use our specialist knowledge and technical expertise to deliver products and services that keep production lines moving.Right now, there are 9,000 of us and counting. We’ve disrupted and we have grown, but we’re not finished yet.The RoleWe support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.As Category Support Specialist you will be involved in:Business Management:

  • Support in driving and determining the UK Commercial strategy in their business area (including, but not restrict to defining the category proposition, setting, and executing promotion strategy and driving procurement)

Category Proposition:

  • Support in defining Category Proposition including, but not restrict to defining core suppliers and brands, product assortment and sell-out price strategy

Category Promotion:

  • Address overall product queries from sales network and customers
  • Support in ideating and implementing sales initiatives (e.g., campaigns, training, sales enablers, etc)
  • Support quotes, tenders, and special projects

Skills and Experience:Essential

  • Good technical knowledge of the Maintenance and Repair category, products and application
  • Understanding of different suppliers in the categories and main characteristics / differences
  • Ability to liaise with different stakeholders in the organization

Desirable

  • Understanding of supplier prices files and structure
  • Understanding of the industry, markets, trends & development
  • Data management and analysis
