The roleTradebe are seeking a Transport co-ordinator, £26K – £31K depending on experience.Monday to Friday operationBased at our Knowsley depotReporting to the Transport Operations Supervisor;2 weekly rota with the Transport operations Supervisor6am – 3pm week 18am – 5pm week 2Duties to include.

• Scheduling loads via emails and phone calls
• Liaising with customer services, account managers, sales, operations team to ensure smooth deliveries and collections
• Driver debriefing
• Problem-solving
• Quoting transport rates
• Managing driver cover for holidays
• Attending planning and morning meetings
• Arranging vehicles in for service, MOTs

The person

• Experience in transport planning/co-ordinating
• Computer skills
• Good communicator
• Great attitude
• Team player

Desirable skills

• Experience of waste and carriage of dangerous goods
• Experience in transport planning
• Advantageous qualifications
• ADR
• HGV Licence
• Transport manager CPC

Expected salary

£26000 – 31000 per year
