About the BSEM Team
The Berry Street Education Model is an approach which provides schools and allied service organisations with the training, curriculum and strategies to engage students. It equips schools to promote cognitive and behavioural change through trauma-informed strengths-based strategies, thereby engaging students in learning and progressing their academic achievement.
We offer a suite of structured professional development, consultation and mentoring programs for school leaders and teachers and the Berry Street Education Model has now been adopted by mainstream and specialist schools.
The Opportunity
The Finance Administrator will support BSEM’s Finance Officer by processing invoices and providing financial administration. They will use Berry Street’s finance system and CRM.
Other responsibilities for the role include:
- Responsible for processing orders for BSEM merchandise sold on our online store.
- Supplying merchandise required at conferences.
- Liaising with suppliers to order and maintain stock levels.
- Sharing in the responsibility of all staff to ensure that everyone who has contact with Berry Street, whether that is via telephone or in person, is treated in a courteous, respectful, and timely manner.
About You
Our preferred candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, and vocational training in Admin (such as a Cert IV/ Diploma in Business Admin or above).
Berry Street is non for profit organisation and this role supports the education team in not only achieving their goals but having a positive impact on the wider community.
Our friendly and supportive team will provide training with a mix of face to face learning from our Preston office location and work for home in the initial stages.
You will be required to have a strong customer service focus and maintain good relationships with our stakeholders.
