Job Description:A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-Environmental Health Officer
37 Hours per week
Scale PO1 SCP 29-32 currently £37,336 – £40,211 per annumMAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Undertake the inspections of commercial and domestic premises; investigate complaints and accidents, enforce relevant statutory provisions and provide guidance on statutory requirements.
Provide advice and make recommendations to public, commercial and governmental organisations on a disparate range of environmental health and or wellbeing issues.
Contribute to effective liaison and partnership arrangements related to the functions of the department.PLEASE NOTE: Only application forms containing all the information, which has been sought, will be considered.
