Lead Sports Facilitator (Female)

Description:

Sunrise Organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Sports Facilitator to join our team. The Lead Sports Facilitator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing sports activities and programs for children and girls. The primary goal is to promote physical fitness, teamwork, leadership skills, and healthy lifestyles among participants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead sports and leadership activities and programs for children and girls.
• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate sports curriculums.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sports activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all children and girls regardless of skill level.
• Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate sports events and tournaments.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant facilitators and volunteers.
• Monitor and assess the progress and development of participants.

 Qualifications and Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education and sports science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sports coaching or facilitation.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and girls from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
