As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you “Dare to Grow” with us?YOUR ROLEOur operation based in Hamble have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and improvement focused Inventory Manager to join their team. Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for the appropriate management controls across a team of stock colleagues, ensuring effective and efficient co-ordination of site inventory management procedures, processes and practices.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Ensuring that a high level of stock integrity is maintained across the operation, you will provide weekly and monthly statistical reports, and ensuring stock is availability across the correct site locations. You will manage all stock variances, ensuring appropriate investigations and tracking metrics are complete and drive regular internal inventory management procedures are reviewed with a view to continually improvement where required.You will also investigate service failures and ensure that appropriate remedial actions are put in place and maintain an optimal level of operational efficiency and resources at all times, ensuring operational procedures and processes meet quality requirements, driving performance improvements through auditing processes and robust reporting mechanisms.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate will work within a large operational logistics environment. You will work in close collaboration with the IT Planning Manager able to identify challenges/opportunities to support the success of performance metrics as well as ongoing reviews and input to the optimum layout of pick sequences, therefore knowledge a WMS would be beneficial.You will have proven experience of leading a diverse team, with a mind-set that looks to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements that drive business performance.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
