A good life takes place in a community. Unison also assists over 3,500 people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness each year across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, Geelong, Werribee and Gippsland.
The role
Reporting to the Executive Team’s Director Housing and Homelessness this is a pivotal role to translate strategies and priorities into operations, and to lead the delivery of service excellence across our entire tenancy management portfolio. Crucial to the role is the work you will do with your leadership team to support our geographically spread staff to have the tools and support to do their best work and continue to love working as part of the Unison team.
You will provide strong senior leadership that promotes teamwork, open discussion, strong morale and a focus on results while also implementing effective engagement strategies with our renters to ensure their voice is heard and we are creating communities that thrive.
The ability to make decisions in complex, fast-paced environments will be key to this role, as well as high levels of enthusiasm, resilience and positivity. Demonstrated experience in property management services, including an in-depth understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act, will be highly regarded.
