Explore more on Cubic.com.Job Details:Job Summary:Job Title: Technician Field Services 3 / Stores ClerkJob Summary: Performs a variety of tasks depending on current operational needs in support of the Tactical Effects Simulation System. These tasks include, but are not limited to, issue, kitting, de-kitting and conducting TES alignment of all military vehicle types and man worn types, training military and civilian users how to properly employ and maintain all TES systems, in depth troubleshooting and first line repair or replacement of all man worn and vehicle hardware systems in the field, receipt of all TES equipment, initial triage of damaged equipment and preventative maintenance. Become a Subject matter expert on TES equipment, Warehouse procedures, LMIS and import and export processes. Drives, sets up, operates, and manages a mobile Field Support Warehouse when required.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:1. Perform day to day duties within the warehouse and provide a service to customers during issue and receipt of AWES equipment, including preparation of equipment for issue.2. Instruct TES Assistant Instructors Cadres and other TES related instructional periods; train military vehicle crews on the fitting, use and troubleshooting of the TES vehicle equipment and train military users on the fitting, alignment, use and troubleshooting of the TES Manworn equipment.3. Understand international importing and exporting equipment requirements.4. Group 2 equipment management to include: assist auditing, preventative, diagnostic and repair maintenance schedules, in depth trouble shooting (barracks and in the field).5. Sets up and operate routine electronic test equipment to perform functional, operational and environment tests to evaluate performance of components, subassemblies and assemblies.6. Maintain files and records to document and support the maintenance effort.7. Provide detailed technical support during TESEX and point of contact for key stakeholder engagement.8. Operate: military communication systems when required, Cubic IT system to provide the desired effects, warehouse Logistical Management information System (LMIS) database, key plant equipment where required within warehouse facility.9. Support deployments of AWES system, setting up and managing mobile Field Support Warehouse which may include nationwide and international travel and brief visitors and delegation on Cubic capabilities.Minimum Job Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and advantageous if in possession of HGV C or C+E class driving licence.
- Familiarity with all common MS Office applications.
- An understanding of warehouse equipment care and processes.
- Forklift Operator
- Previous military service is beneficial.
- Technical background with an understanding of LVC synthetic training systems employed within defence training and technology sectors and an understanding of technical requirements integrated into military training is an advantage.
- Ability to instruct groups of up to 20 people.
- Ability to operate radio communications equipment and voice procedure.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix environment.

- In date passport and ability to travel domestically and abroad for short periods of time to participate in CDUK LVC delivery requirements.
